SMALL AREA FMRs

Effective Decmber 1, 2010 new Fair Market Rents (FMR) will be in effect for Housing Authorities (PHA) located in the Dallas, Texas metropolitan area. A FMR is the amount set by HUFD that would be needed to pay the rent plus utilities of privately owned, decent and safe rental housing of a modest nature with suitable amenities.

The Housing Authority has partnered with www.Gosection8.com , which provides an enhanced program to list rental properties on line. Listings are available to potential Housing Choice Voucher tenants seeking apartment units, duplexes, single-family homes or townhomes in the private market.
