More than 10,000 families have applied and your waiting time is unknown.
You are responsible for updating your application information during the 30 day period of January 15 – February 15 and again during the period of July 15 – August 15. Failure to update your information during this time period will automatically drop you from the wait list. You will be assigned a position based on your selected preference (if applicable), date, and time of application. The wait list is updated on the 5th business day of the month. Plano Housing Authority will not release any wait list information over the telephone.
Plano Housing Authority will only accept applications for the waiting list during the announced open period. We do not offer any form of emergency housing. Click the External Resources tab at the top of the page for agencies that may be able to provide addional resources.
We will make a Public Notice in the local newspaper, on our website, and on our phone system at least 30 days before the wait list opens.
